NSW Government – Aboriginal Procurement Policy (APP) Launch

OCM were honoured to be invited to the announcement of the NSW Government Aboriginal Procurement Policy (APP) and partnership with the NSW Indigenous Chamber of Commerce (NSWICC) on Friday the 11th May at the Djiyagiyulang-gal Enterprise Hub in Redfern. NSW Premier, the Hon. Gladys Berejiklian, accompanied by Minister Victor Dominello and Minister Sarah Mitchell made the media announcement in the presence of the NSWICC Board, Members and Associate Members. The NSW Government and NSWICC Industry Based Agreement Partnership will be used to support the Policy’s implementation by showcasing and linking Aboriginal Businesses to NSW Government Agencies and Supply Chains.

The NSW Indigenous Chamber of Commerce (NSWICC) is a non-Government, not for profit organisation with 12+ years expertise in Aboriginal procurement and economic development. The NSWICC’s core strategy is focused around creating a self-sustaining chamber model that ignites the entrepreneurial spirit of Aboriginal people, accelerates Aboriginal business and employment growth, and facilitates relationships and networks that enable sustained economic and social inclusion.
